(optional) Horse Use Fee - $350.00

A member may waive the horse use fee if they:

  • bring their own horse
  • board the horse at the team barn, and
  • ride their horse for lessons

If a member requires use of a team horse to take lessons, they must pay the horse use fee:

  • Entitles the rider to ride a team provided horse for one lesson and one free ride each week
  • Horses will be assigned to each rider and will vary only when decided by the coach
  • Seniors (only) may apply for a reduced Horse Use fee under special circumstances due to their inherently busier schedule. Applying for the special circumstances option does not guarantee acceptance or approval. Contact the current President for more information or an application form
  • All fees must be paid before first lesson. There will be NO refunds for any reason

There are opportunities to lease or co-lease horses. Contact the coach, Lani Debaets (coach@longwooddressageteam.com), if interested. Having your own horse here, leasing, or co-leasing a horse allows a greater opportunity to ride and advance in your riding skills

Horse Owners desiring to have their horse in the program and ridden by others must have their horse approved by the coach
